Frequently asked questions
- How does the poker timer alarm work?
- When a blind level ends, the timer plays a louder Web Audio alert (chime, beep, double-beep, or siren-lite), optionally vibrates, and flashes the clock. Adjust volume in Settings, mute if needed, and choose auto-advance or tap-to-dismiss. Turn on “Repeat until dismissed” to keep replaying until you advance. On iPhone, tap Start or Test alarm once to unlock audio.
- Does fullscreen work on phones?
- Use Fullscreen on the clock for a huge readable blind display. Where the browser Fullscreen API is available, the timer panel goes true fullscreen (Escape exits). On browsers that block it, the clock expands to an immersive full-viewport layout instead.
- Can I save my blind structure?
- Structure, clock state, and alarm prefs save to localStorage on your device automatically. Sign in to save multiple named profiles (levels + alarm prefs) to your account, then load, rename, or delete them anytime.
- Will the clock survive a page refresh?
- Yes. Structure, current level, remaining time, and settings save to localStorage on your device. If the clock was running, it continues from the absolute end time after you reload.
- Can I keep the screen awake during a home game?
- While the timer is running, the page requests a Screen Wake Lock when the browser supports it, so your phone is less likely to sleep mid-level. Support varies by device and browser.
